Morris Dies; Interment Held At Zion Silas Nathan Morris, 89, died at 1:25 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 1970, in a hospital in Alexandria. He was a native of Grant Parish and a resident of Georgetown. He was a retired oil field worker. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ella McConathy Morris of Georgetown; four sons, Corley Morris of Houma, Nathan W. Morris of Georgetown, David D. Morris of Falls Church, Va., and Otis C. Morris of Oden, Ark.; a daughter, Mrs. Maxine Wilson of Long Beach, Calif.; two brothers, D. P. Morris of San Gabriel, Calif., and George S. Morris of Pineville; a sister, Mrs. Nancy M. Chandler of Pineville and seven grandchildren. Funeral servies were held at 11 a.m. Monday at Georgetown Baptist Church. Burial was in Zion Cemetery.
