T. Mosley, 64, of Dry Prong, father of Doyle Mosley of Winnfield, who died at his home on March 28 following a long illness, were conducted at the Liberty Chapel at Williana on March 29 with Rev. E. Barker officiating. Interment was in the Liberty Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Jack Mosley, J. N. Moore, H. A. Lamar, R. K. Strickland, and H. Mosley. A lifelong resident of Dry Prong, Mr. Mosley was born on March 16, 1883 and was educated in Grant Parish. He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by three sons, Doyle of Winnfield, Ovie Mosley of Dry Prong, and Arvil Mosley of New Mexico; four daughters, Mrs. Ruth Pollard of Boyce, La., Mrs. Opal Webb of Texas, Mrs. Lela Strickland of Alabama, and Mrs. Norma Lamar of Texas; a brother, E. A. Mosley of Dry Prong; six sisters, Mrs. J. H. Hodnett, Mrs. Floyd Futrell, of Colfax; Mrs. G. C. Blackwell, Mrs. L. C. Watson, Mrs. Ida Mosley of Shreveport, and Mrs. J. N. Moore of Calvin.
