Moss, 83, of Winnfield was held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Southern Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Calvin Phelps officiating. Burial was in Winnfield City Cemetery. She died early Friday, August 11, 1978 in Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Caldwell Parish, a library assistant, a member of the First Baptist Church of Winnfield, former member of the Garden Club of Winnfield, and the home Demonstration Club of Winnfield and widow of Alon (Alan) Moss, prominent Winnfield attorney. Survivors include a son, Dr. Thomas Moss of Shreveport; a daughter, Mrs. Pat Harrell of Winnfield, two sisters, Mrs. W. L. Campbell of Leesville and Lula Butler of Alexandria; four grand children and one great grandchild. Pallbearers were Marvin Harrell, Buddy Wood, C. B.
