Burial followed in Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home. Mrs. Moss was born January 27, 1907 in Mt. Lebanon, Bienville Parish, to a prominent Northwest Louisiana pioneer family. Mrs. Moss entered into rest at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, 1996 in Winn Parish Medical Center. Mrs. Moss has been a resident of Winnfield for 67 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, a graduate of Louisiana College in Pineville, a teacher, a homemaker, and mother. Mrs. Moss was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Casimir D. Moss. Survivors include one son, Cas B. Moss of Winnfield; one daughter, Dale M. Russell of Winnfield; one sister, Drew B. Pearson of Many; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Leo W. McDonald, Burton D. Weaver, Jr., William R. Boone, Richard H. Watts, Tommy J. Bankston, and Mack Martin. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Winnfield, or a charity of choice.
