Mother of W. P. Martin Dies in Wadesboro, N. C.

Mrs. Mary Anne Martin, 79 years of age, died at her home in Wadesboro, N. C.,
Wednesday, January 15, 1936.  Funeral services were held Friday at 11 a.m. at
her old home church, Mount Vernon Methodist Church of which she had been a
member since she was ten years of age.  Acting as pallbearers were six of her
seven sons.

Mrs. Martin was the mother of two daughters and seven sons, all of whom
survive.  Her husband preceded her in death twenty-one years ago.

Mr. W. P. Martin of Winnfield and Mr. T. C. Martin of Minden, are two of her
sons.  Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Martin and three children and Mr. T. C. Martin
attended the funeral services.
