Willie Martin Of Near Sikes Is Claimed By Death

Mr. Willie Martin, 69 years of age, who resides near Sikes, succumbed at his
home Friday, Oct. 16, 1942, after a lingering illness.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Leavie Johnston Martin; and the following
children: Ernest, of Hodge; Arnold of Monroe; and Larry Martin of Orange,
Texas; Mrs. Clemie Ewing; Mrs. Beulah Ewing of Monroe; Mrs. Hilton Jordan of
Hodge; Mrs. Carl Watson of Orange, Texas; and Mrs. Violet Johnston of Hodge.

Funeral services were held at Zoar Methodist Church Sunday with Sister Wiggins
of Olla in charge of the services.
