Warren Mathis Dies Suddenly Thursday Morn.

Funeral Services Will Be At Saline Friday at 2 P.M.

T. Warren Mathis, about 70 years of age, died suddenly Thursday morning,
November 7, 1935, from a heart attack at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Gorham,
where he resided, several miles west of Winnfield.

Mr. Mathis was born in Florida, coming to this parish when a child with his
parents.  He served as parish treasurer of Winn for two terms, about thirty-
five years ago.

Surviving are three brothers and one sister, Dave Mathis of Montgomery; Jim
Mathis of Cotton Valley, Charlie Mathis of Mooringsport, and Mrs. Frank haley
of Harrisonburg.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Saline Church south of
the Couley Community.  Interment will be in Saline Cemetery.
