Funeral Rites Held Monday for George C. Munro

George C. Munro, 80, died Friday, December 12, 1969 in a local hospital
following a brief illness.  

He was manager of the Salter Bus Lines, a member of the Laurel Heights Baptist
Church, and a Mason.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Zion Baptist Church with
Rev. C. C. Martin officiating.  Burial was in the church cemetery under
direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Survivors are one son, Charles Munro of Filmore, Calif.; five daughters, Mrs.
Dorothy Bellett of Hazel Park, Mich., Mrs. Eleanor LeFever of Hazel Park,
Mich., Mrs. Margaret Downs of Birmingham, Ala., Mrs. Carol Holm of Livermore,
Calif., and Mrs. Barbara Cardoza of Livermore, Calif.; 13 grandchildren
and seven great grandchildren.
