Former Winnfield Man is Buried at Mt. Zion Saturday

Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. for George Waltrop Myers, 69,
former resident of Winnfield who died in Pineville, Friday.  Rites were
conducted at the Mt. Zion Methodist Church by Rev. T. A. Brown, assisted by
Rev. Mrs. Lula Wardlow, and burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery under the
direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home.

The deceased is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Corene Cardozier of Montgomery
and Mrs. Thelma Faulk of Athens; five sons, C. H. and Buford Myers of Levelon,
E. J. Myers of Baton Rouge, and Weyman and Nobel Ray Myers of Montgomery; a
sister, Mrs. Frances McDaniel of Montgomery, and 10 grandchildren.

Pallbearers were nephews of the deceased.
