G. W. Myers, 69, Former Resident Of Winn, Dies

George Waltrop Myers, age 69, died Sunday, Nov. 9, at Pineville, La., after an
illness of several weeks.  Funeral services were held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at
the Mt. Zion Methodist Church with Rev. T. A. Brown, assisted by Mrs. Lula
Wardlow, officiating.  Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery under the direction
of Hixson Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Surviving are five sons, C. H. Myers of Levelon, La., Buford Myers of Levelon,
La., E. L. Myers of Baton Rouge, Weyman Myers and Noble Ray Mybers of
Montgomery; two daughters, Mrs. Corina Cardozier of Montgomery and Mrs. Thelma
Faulk of Athens, La.; one sister, Mrs. Frances McDaniel of Montgomery, and
ten grandchildren.

Pallbearers were nephews of the deceased.
