Mr. Neal was 78 years old and lived his long life in the community in which he was born and where since early manhood he engaged in farming. Those children surviving are Mrs. Ena McNaughton, Harmon, La., Felix Neal, Mat Neal, J. T. Neal and Mrs. J. W. Gunn, Montgomery, La., Mrs. Frank Shaw and Mrs. Blanche McGinty, Winnfield, Ed Neal , Ruston, Hearl Neal, Leforse, Texas and Oswald Neal, Olla. Crawford, of Shreveport, and interment was made in the Mt. Zion cemetery. Mr. Neal was a member of the Mt. Zion Methodist Church.
