Nicks Services for Mary Magadalene Bramlett Nicks of Hodge, La., were at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, in the chapel of Edmonds Funeral Home in Jonesboro, La., with the Reb. Billy Moore officiating. Burial was in Quitman, La. Mrs. Nicks, 79, died Sunday, March 10, 1991, at Humana-Winn Parish Hospital in Winnfield, La., after a brief illness. She was a homemaker born in Ringgold, La., but had lived most of her life in Jackson Parish and was living in Hodge with her son. Survivors include one son, Edwin Nicks of Hodge, La.; four daughters, Rosemary Wiggins of Hardy, Ark., Nell Ruth Holland of Horebrook, Pa., and Barbara Lay and Maylin Nick, both of Winnfield, La.; 16 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Donnie Wiggins, Randy Wiggins, Johnny Wiggins, Greg Wiggins, Paul Brown, and Shane Stuckey.
