Sidney C. Naquin Dies Monday In Lafayette, La.

Sidney C. Naquin, native of New Orleans and a resident of Lafayette for the past
46 years, died Monday in a Lafayette hospital.  He was 83 years of age and was
a retired building contractor.

Mr. Naquin is survived by his widow, the former Miss Carrie Love of Winnfield,
now of Lafayette, and by two daughters, Mrs. Charles Cooper of Alexandria and
Mrs. James A. Fleshman of Northern Ireland.  He also leaves five sons, one
sister, and 15 grandchildren.

Mr. Naquin will be remembered in Winnfield where he resided a number of years. 
He completed the building of the Winn Parish Court House that was torn down
before the present structure was built.  He was an uncle of Mrs. Chester Derr of
Winnfield.
