Nash Dies; Rites Held Sunday Elton E. Nash, 70, died Saturday, October 9, 1976 in a Winnfield hospital. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Calvin Phelps and Rev. Robert Gage officiating. Burial was in the Winnfield City Cemetery. Mr. Nash was a native of Huttig, Ark., and was an inspector for the timber industry. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mae Gilstrap Nash of Winnfield; one daughter, Mrs. Jimmy Jenkins of Oberlin; two brothers, Stanley Nash of El Dorado, Ark., and O. O. Nash of Baton Rouge; one sister, Mrs. Camille Hicks of Tullos, and three grandchildren. Pallbearers included Billy Plunkett, G. E. Brewton, Gene Porter, Jack Plunkett, Leo Sowers, and Prentice Cole.
