Mr. Nash came to Louisiana from Junction City when Hall and Ligin erected their mill at Tannehill. Later Mr. Nash made his home in Winnfield. He purchased the Central Hotel which has been conducted by his family for the last several years. Mr. Nash was a blacksmith and operated a shop in Winnfield and belonged toat class of which Longfellow tells us, he strictly attended to his own business and was known for his honest dealing. He filled a useful place in the community. We regret his passing ane extend sympathy to the bereaved.
