Eighty Year Old Local Negro Dies In Clarence Mon.

Joe Nash, Sr., colored, 80 years old, died July 20 of a heart attack at
Clarence.  Funeral services are to be held today (Thursday), July 23., at the
Choctaw Island Baptist Church in Natchitoches Parish, of which he was a
member.

He had lived in Winnfield for the past eight years and was a native of
Natchitoches Parish.  He is survived by his wife, Lula Nash, of Winnfield, six
children, two brothers, and five sisters.
