O. Neal To Be Held In Olla Fri., 10 A.M. Funeral services for Charles Oswald Neal, 51, native of the Wheeling Community, who died in a Winnfield hospital Wednesday afternoon, will be held at the Olla Methodist Church Friday at 10 a.m. with the pastor, Rev. Mr. Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Olla Cemetery. Active as pallbearers will be Perry Wilks, Bruce Gough, Pete Henderson, Roy Swanson, Earl Nugent, and Elmer Etheridge. In ill health for some time, Mr. Neal had been making his home on North Laurel Street for the past six months. A retired employee of Pineville Gas Company, he had lived many years in Olla. While in Winnfield he assisted his daughter, Mrs. Charles Bass, and Mr. Bass in the operation of their business establishment on Lafayette Street. Mr. Neal is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Laverne Head of Olla and Mrs. Charles Bass of Winnfield; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Blanche McGinty, Winnfield, and Mrs. Jessie Gunn, Rt. 1, Montgomery; four brothers, Felix, J. M., and W. F. Neal, all of Route 1, Montgomery, and J. T. Neal of Ferriday.
