All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: November, 1956 Winn Parish Enterprise News-American Last Rites For Clyde Neal, 45, At Atlanta Sunday Clyde Neal, 45, a life long resident of the Atlanta Community, and widely known as a sportsman, died in a Winnfield hospital November 1, 1956, after a long illness. He was a member of the Atlanta Methodist Church and was an employee of the Department of State Highways. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Neal of Atlanta; four brothers, Orville of Atlanta, Huey of Monroe, Alvin of Dallas, and Gerald of Bastrop. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Atlanta Methodist Church with burial in the Atlanta Cemetery. The Rev. D. S. Durand, pastor, officiated, assisted by the Rev. Don Brown. Acting as pallbearers were W. P. Spillers, Woodrow Dark, B. R. Brady, H. Riser, Goode Haddox and Snooks Dark.
