From: April 19, 1945 Winn Parish Enterprise

PFC. Elton H. Neal, husband of Ina Mae Rabon Neal of Jonesboro, and formerly
of Winnfield, died of wounds received Feb. 9 in Manila.  This 21 year old
infantryman attended the Winnfield Trade School and was employed at the
Southern Advance Bag and Paper Company when inducted Aug. 12, 1943.  He
received his training at Camp Wolters, Texas and was sent overseas in Feb.,
1944.  He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Neal of Quitman and the son in law
of Mrs. Layton Raborn of Route 1, Goldonna.
