Fred F. Neal

Fred F. Neal, 81, of Joyce, died Friday, November 25, 1977 at Rapides General
Hospital in Alexandria after a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Hixson Brothers
Funeral Home of Winnfield with the Revs. J. L. Holt and Jimmy Yocum
officiating.

Burial was in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Winnfield.

Mr. Neal was a native of Jena.  He was a retired logger. He was also a member
of the East Winnfield Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Fred Neal of Joyce; two daughters, Mrs. Betty
N. Smith of Alexandria and Mrs. Nelda N. Stephens of Winnfield; one brother,
Bullard Neal of Tioga; three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Tison of Pollock, Mrs.
Sallie Lasyone of Tioga, and Mrs. Jewel Foster of Urania; eight grandchildren
and eight great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Jerry Smith, Ricky Smith, Greg Smith, Mickey Carey, Jimmy
Voorhies, and Craig LeJeune.
