Mother of Local Residents Dies In Urania Oct. 24

Mrs. Frances Neal, native of Grant Parish, died at the home of a son in Urania
October 24 after a lengthy illness.  She was 94.

Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Sardis Baptist
Church, Grant Parish, with the Rev. W. A. Massey, the Rev. Mr. Mayo, and the
Rev. Kenneth Wall officiating.  Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Neal is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Alice Ivy and Mrs. Salley
Lasyone, both of Dry Prong; Mrs. Mattie Tison, Pollock; Mrs. Jewel Foster,
Georgetown; four sons, Chris Neal, Urania; Bullard Neal, Dry Prong; Lonnie
Neal, Winnfield; Fred Neal, Joyce; 22 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren,
and two great great grandchildren.
