Mrs. N. Mathis, 98, Succumbs; Rites Held Fri.

Funeral services for Mrs. Netta W. Mathis, 98, of Montgomery, were held Friday
at 2:30 p.m. at the Mt. Zion Methodist Church with the Rev. Roy Moore and
Eugene Love officiating.

Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home
of Winnfield.

Mrs. Mathis died Tuesday, September 11, 1973 in a local hospital following a
lengthy illness. 

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Montgomery and is survived by
a number of nieces and nephews.
