Mrs. J. W. Crippen's Brother Dies In Bend, Ore., Aug. 5

Mrs. J. W. Crippen received news last week of the sudden death of her brother,
Chris Nicar, age 54, in Bend, Oregon, on Saturday, August 5.  Funeral
services were held Wednesday of last week at 2:30 o'clock in the afternoon.

Besides Mrs. Crippen, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Chris Nicar of Bend,
Ore., mother, Mrs. Rosa Doughty of Liberty, Texas; four other sisters, Mrs.
Jewel Fenton, San Diego, Calif., Mrs. Laura Kimmey, Beaumont, Texas, Mrs.
Vesta Gifford, Houston, Texas, and three brothers, Roy Nicar, U. S. Navy in
Pacific, W. P. Doughty, Indiana, Howard Doughty, Liberty, Texas.
