Henry T. Nichols, Retired Teacher, Buried At Couley

Henry T. Nichols, 72, retired former teacher of Winn Parish, died in a
Pineville hospital October 10.  Mr. Nichols had been residing in Pineville for
the past several years.

Funeral services were held October 11 at 3 p.m. at the Couley Double Church
with Judge Cas Moss, Rev. L. L. Booth, and the Rev. Mr. Wallace officiating. 
Burial was in the Couley Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

At the time of his death Mr. Nichols was a member of the Lee Heights Baptist
Church, Pineville.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Bessie Martin Nichols, Pineville; one son,
Glessner, Pineville; two daughters, Mrs. Theodore Rowell, Winnfield, Mrs.
Thomas Franklin, Alexandria.  He also leaves eight grandchildren and three
great grandchildren and several brothers and sisters.
