Ernest D. Nicklas

Services for Ernest D. Nicklas, 67, of Dodson, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday
at Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel in Winnfield with Dr. Calvin Phelps
officiating.

Burial was in Zion Hill Cemetery in Tannehill.

Mr. Nicklas died Monday, March 19, 1984 at Lincoln General Hospital in Ruston
after a long illness.

Survivors include his wife, Lillie Welch Nicklas of Dodson; a son, Ronald
Nicklas of San Antonio, Texas; four daughters, Janette Frible of Crete, Ill.,
Peggy Cumella of Indian Harbor Beach, Fla., Carrie James of Luling, Sandra
Babin of Ruston; two brothers, Alto Nicklas of Tioga, Brooks Nicklas of
Jefferson City, Mo.; two sisters, Lucille Farrar and Lois Farrar, both of
Lillie; 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
