Funeral Rites For Johnny E. Nick Held Thursday

Johnny E. Nick, 73, of Montgomery, died Wednesday, February 5, 1969 at 10 a.m.
in a Winnfield hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Angie Nick of Montgomery; seven sons, Dock
Nick of Montgomery, Frank Nick of Colfax, Charles Nick, J. C. Nick, Clinton
Nick, Howard Nick, Elmer Nick, all of Tyler, Texas; three daughters, Mrs.
Lucille Antee of Colfax, Mrs. Laverne Johns of West Monroe, and Mrs. Viola
Smith of Jonesboro; two sisters, Mrs. Rosa Mae Dubois and Mrs. Odie Lemoine,
both of Colfax; 38 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Summerville Baptist Church
with Rev. Bill Page and Rev. Ricks officiating.  Burial was in Dartigo
Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
