Jessie Nix, 81, Succumbs Thurs. April 14

Jessie Nix, 81, of Natchitoches died Thursday, April 14, in a Shreveport
hospital.  Services were held 3 p.m. Saturday in the Blanchard-St. Denis
Chapel with the Rev. Charles Bates officiating.  Burial was in the Fern Park
Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife; four stepsons, James A. Tucker of Clarkston, Ga.,
Leo Wallette of Blanchard, M Sgt. Robert Wallette of Sawyer AFB, Mich., Dr.
Dennis Wallette of Baton Rouge, three brothers, Joe Nix of Natchitoches,
Sidney Nix of Montgomery, and Ralph Nix of Winnfield; 13 step grandchildren
and two step great grandchildren.
