Mrs. Ruby Olean Norred

Services for Mrs. Ruby Olean Norred, 60, of Jonesboro were held at 2 p.m.
Friday in Jonesboro Church of Christ with Brothers Haley Sisson and Curtis
Manness officiating.

Burial was in Transport Cemetery in Dodson under direction of Southern
Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

Mrs. Norred died Thursday, September 8, 1983 in Jackson Parish Hospital in
Jonesboro after a brief illness.

Survivors include her husband, Elmer Ray Norred of Jonesboro; two sons,
Charles Norred of Jonesboro and Joel Norred, both of Jonesboro; three
daughters, Mrs. Bobby Hale, Mrs. Diane Walker, and Mrs. Tammy Shows, all of
Jonesboro; two brothers, E. F. Broomfield and Jack Broomfield, both of Dodson;
one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Horn of Ruston; one half-brother, Garland Broomfield
of Dodson; two half-sisters, Mrs. Linda Terral and Mrs. Cherry Young, both of
Dodson; 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
