George H. Norris, 75, Succumbs Suddenly Tuesday

George H. Norris, 75, of Winnfield, died suddenly early Tuesday morning,
September 19, 1972 at his residence.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Southern Funeral Home Chapel
with Rev. Charles Haley and Rev. James Gorham officiating.

Interment was at Springhill Cemetery near Jonesboro.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Norris of Winnfield; two sons, William
R. Norris of Winnfield and Cletus Norris of Sieper; six daugthers, Mrs. Remie
Blanchard of Port Allen, Mrs. Floyd Mercer of Winnfield, Mrs. James Ray of
Winnfield, Mrs. Shirley Hollaway (Hataway?) of Atlanta, Mrs. Jerry Perry of
Joyce, Miss Cathy Norris of Winnfield; one step brother, Walter White of
Pineville; 37 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
