Mrs. R. A. Norred, Sr., Succumbs; Rites Held Tuesday

Dora S. Norred, 86, of Dodson, died Sunday, December 10, 1967 in a Winnfield
hospital after a brief illness.  She was the widow of Robert A. Norred, Sr.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Highway Chapel Church of God
located south of Quitman with the Rev. Paul Presson and the Rev. Dell Durand
of Hodge officiating.

Burial was in Antioch Cemetery near Quitman.

She is survived by six sons, Earl J. Norred, Shreveport, Clayton J. Norred,
Dodson, Cedric A. Norred of Dallas, Texas, C. Paul Norred of Detroit, Mich.,
Newton Norred of South Carolina, and David Norred of Oak Grove; two sisters,
Mrs. Pearl Brown of Quitman and Mrs. Lavenia Powell of Winnfield, 11
grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
