Death Claims 27 Year Old Dodson Woman

Mrs. Walter Norris, 27 years of age of Dodson died Sunday morning at 4 o'clock
at a Ruston clinic after two weeks illness.  Mrs. Norris is survived by her
husband, Walter Norris, a son, Marvin, of Dodson, four sisters, Mrs. Gusta
Goss of Bernice; Miss Ruby Owen and Miss Audie Owen of Bernice, and one
brother.

Mrs. Norris was a devout member of the Baptist Church and an active Sunday
School and Auxiliary worker.

Funeral services were conducted Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Baptist Church. 
Rev. S. G. Rodgers of Pineville, Rev. L. D. Moreland of Ruston, and Rev. B. D.
Boddie of Hodge officiated.  Interment was made in the cemetery at Jonesboro.
Pallbearers were H. R. Sylvest, I. N. Carpenter, L. L. Lee, A. L. Mixon, J. H.
Barr, G. W. Price, Henry Kornegay, and H. D. Scott.
