Son of Late Col. Nicholson Dies At Houston, Texas

Mrs. Luther Stovall and Mr. M. D. Nicholson of Dodson were called to Houston,
Texas, last weekend by the news of the death of their brother, Mr. G. B.
Nicholson, who died suddenly at his home there January 5th.  The deceased was
58 years of age.  He was reared in Baton Rouge and was the son of the late
Col. J. W. Nicholson, professor of mathematics and former president of
Louisiana State University.  He was a member of the M. E. Church.

Funeral services were conducted in Houston, Sunday, January 6.  

Besides his brother and sister, the deceased is survived by his wife and two
children.
