Final Rites For Alma N. Nugent Held at Georgetown

Alma N. Nugent, 95, died at 10:45 a.m. Monday in a Springhill hospital.

Survivors are one son, David Nugent of Pineville; four daughters, Mrs. Lillian
Scroggs of Pineville, Mrs. Grace Rambo of Houston, Texas, Mrs. Stella 
Strickland of Houma, and Mrs. Blanche French of Springhill; two brothers, 
Walter Nugent of Natchitoches and Cicero Nugent of Preston; one sister, Mrs.
Jennie Drewett of Houston, Texas; 16 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren,
and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Hixson
Brothers Funeral Home, Winnfield.  Burial was in Georgetown Cemetery with Rev.
Floyd Williamson, Rev. Jimmy Jones, and Rev. Fred Craighead officiating.
