Officiating, will be the Reverends Mac Brunson and Bob Braley. Interment will follow in the Lincecum Cemetery near Georgetown, La. under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Mr. Nugent, age 55 of Winnfield, died Sunday, march 13, 2005, at the Winn Parish Medical Center in Winnfield, La. mr. Nugent was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a member of the Laurel Heights Baptist Church. He worked in Law Enforcement for 24 years and served as the Chief of Police for the City of Winnfield from 1994 until 2002. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Harvey Nugent, and his brother, Fred Melton Nugent. Survivers are: His mother, Mrs. Juanita Nugent of Georgetown, La. His son, Scott A. Nugent of Winnfield, La. His daughter, Brandi Morgan of Cassville, MO Two brothers, Jimmy Ray Nugent of Salem Oregon Charles Nugent of Pollock, La. His sister, Cornelia Bradford of Georgetown, La. His grandaughter, Valerie Nugent Several Nieces and Nephews. Friends vay visit at Southern Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 15, 2005 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and from 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM on Wednesday, March 16, 2005. Pallbearers will be C.J. Nugent, Chuck Nugent, Gene Nugent, Michael Durbin, Clay Robertson, Rusty Miles, Roy Cotton and Johnny Ray Carpenter.
