Brother of Local Resident Dies Thursday In Urania

Van B. Nugent, 62, of Route 1, Pollock, died Thursday, November 30, 1972 at
3:30 a.m. in Hardtner Medical Center in Urania.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Tressia Nugent of Pollock; one daughter, Miss
Violet Nugent of Pollock; four brothers, Delbert Nugent and Lynell Nugent,
both of Route 1, Pollock; Leroy Nugent of Pineville, and Walter Nugent of
Winnfield; two sisters, Mrs. Altha Thompson and Mrs. Maurine Bailey, both
of Route 1, Pollock.

Funeral services were held in the Lincecum Baptist Church with Rev. H. B.
Gene, pastor, officiating.  Burial was in Lincecum Cemetery.
