W. L. Nugent, 48, Succumbs; Rites Held Sunday

William Lonnie Nugent, 48, of Tullos, died Friday, July 17, 1970, in a
Pineville hospital after a short illness.  Funeral services were held Sunday
at 2 p.m. in the New Union Baptist Church of Tullos with the Revs. Doris
Dearman officiating.  Burial was in the New Union Cemetery.

Survivors include his widow; five sons, Paul Nugent of Dodson, John Nugent,
Winnfield, Roy Nugent, Ronnie Nugent, and Marvin Nugent, all of Tullos; four
sisters, Mrs. C. B. Richmond of Pineville, Mrs. Minnie Summerall, Mrs. W. A.
Allbritton, Mrs. T. V. Allbritton, all of Tullos; three brothers, John Nugent
of Pine Prairie, Hugh Nugent of Tullos, and Richard Nugent of Elmer.
