Sister Of Jesse Corley Dies Wednesday

Mrs. Frances Corley Odom, 93, of Jena died at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 1974
in LaSalle General Hospital.

She is survived by two sons, Lawrence E. Gates of Jena; two daughters, Mrs.
Cleo Taylor of Golde, Ark., and Mrs. Lucille Thompson of Jena; three brothers,
Jesse Corley of Winnfield, Clarence Corley of Lake Charles, and Elijah
Corley of Oakdale; three sisters, Mrs. Bill Sanderson and Mrs. M. L. Gales,
both of Oakdale, and Mrs. Ida Scarborough of Lake Charles; nine grandchildren,
29 great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Hixson Brothers,
Jena.  Burial was in the Winnfield Cemetery.
