Odom Dies At Alexandria; Former Winnfield Resident James Pinkney Odom, 65, of Alexandria, died at the family residence there Thursday, November 21. Mr. Odom was born in Winnfield but has resided in Alexandria for many years, where he was an employee of the Texas and Pacific and Missouri Pacific Railway. He is survived by his wife, four daughters and two sons. They are Mrs. Bertie Hixon of Fort Worth, Texas; Mrs. L__ Sorrel and Mrs. Theresa Carroll of Ennis, Texas; Mrs. Ava Washburn and J. P. Odom, Jr., of Hugo, Okla., and Charles Odom of Mississippi. Funeral arrangements were delayed awaiting the arrival of two of his daughters.
