John Oliver Passes Away

   Mrs. W. U. Drewett, of Winnfield, Mrs. C. R. Row and Mrs. Geo. Moore
of Packton were called to Shreveport last Friday to the bedside of their
father, Mr. John Oliver, lately of this community. 
   Mr. Oliver passed away just prior to the arrival of his children who
had been notified of his serious illness with the exception of his son,
Mr. T. C. Oliver, who is in South america.  He was 66 years of age, and
well known to the residents of Winn Parish. He was buried
in Forest Park Cemetery at Shreveport.

(NOTE: I have changed "P. C." to "T. C." for Thurman Claude Oliver.
John Wesley Oliver died on March 28, 1924.)
