Oliver Succumbs To Long Illness Sunday Funeral Services Conducted At The Presbyterian Church Monday; Interment Local Cemetery Mrs. C. G. Oliver, 52 years of age, died at her home Sunday morning at 1:30 following an illness since last November. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Alwin Stokes, pastor, in charge, assisted by the Rev. Ellis Smith, Methodist minister. Interment was in the Winnfield Cemetery. Mrs. Oliver was born in Vienna, La., March 11th, 1881, and was before her marriage in Ruston April 22, 1906, Miss Annie Andrews, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Andrews. The family came to Winnfield in 1910, where they have since resided. The deceased is survived by her husband, C. G. Oliver; one daughter, Mrs. Henry Endom, Winnfield; parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Andrews, Winnfield; six sisters, Mrs. S. N. Thomas, Winnfield; Mrs. H. B. Elbon, Forth Worth, Texas; Mrs. W. B. Cooper, Calvin; Mrs. Ellen Mitchell, Monroe; Mrs. W. E. Lyles, Ruston; and Mrs. A. C. Norman, of Oil City; three brothers, Sam Andrews, W. A. Andrews, Winnfield; W. A. Andrews, Phoenix, Arizona. Among the out of town relatives and friends attending the last rites were Mrs. Ezra White, Mrs. J. L. Nichols, Mrs. H. M. Branch, Miss Dorothy Owen, of Monroe, La.; Mr. and Mrs. Blanchard Ledbetter, Mrs. Cora McMullins, J. H. Deloney, Mr. Martin and Mr. Griffin Andrews, Mrs. W. E. Lyles and Howard and Doris Lyles, of Ruston; Mrs. Charley Autrey, Mrs. Bob Bennett and daughters, Mrs. J. W. Willard, Mrs. Bill Farley, of Dubach, La.; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bittick, L. B. Oliver, Shreveport, La.; W. C. Oliver, Hico, La.; Mrs. A. C. Norman and daughters, Oil City, La.; Mr. and Mrs. Lewis McMullin, Mooringsport, La.; and Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Cooper, Calvin, La.
