O'Laughlin Succumbs; Buried In El Dorado, Ark. Mrs. Lela Tannehill O'Laughlin, 76, a native of Winnfield, died in a local hospital May 1, 1961. She was the daughter of the late Harriette Long and Monroe Tannehill. After her marriage to Mr. O'Laughlin, she had made her home in El Dorado, Ark., and was a charter member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in that city. She was a cousin of the late Huey P. Long and Earl K. Long. Mrs. O'Laughlin is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Elmo Frazier, Winnfield, and Mrs. Ralph Robinson, El Dorado; two sisters, Mrs. Edwina Hale, Winnfield, and Mrs. Sina Whitecotton, Shreveport; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Last rites were conducted under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Winnfield, at El Dorado, Ark., at 4 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. David Raley and Guy D. Talleson of El Dorado, assisted by Eugene Love of Winnfield, officiated at the rites held in the Emmanuel Baptist Church. Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery, El Dorado. Acting as pallbearers were James Mallard, Lloyd Key, and D. D. Jacobs, Winnfield; Robert Gibbs, Otis Glenn, and Tom Chandler, of El Dorado.
