Death Claims Mrs. Oliver After Long Illness

Last Rites Are Conducted At Forest Park in Shreveport

Death claimed Mrs. Nannie D. Oliver, 77 years, 5 months and 17 days of age, at
the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. I. Rowe, here Monday, March 14th, after an
illness of many months.  Funeral services were conducted at the Presbyterian
Church Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock with the pastor, Rev. Alwin Stokes and
Rev. G. A. Morgan, Methodist pastor, officiating.  Interment was in the Forest
Park Cemetery in Shreveport.

Mrs. Oliver was a native of Arcadia, Bienville Parish, but had lived here for
some time with her daughters, Mrs. Rowe and Mrs. W. U. Drewett.

Surviving are the following sons and daughters, T. C. Oliver, Haughton, La.,
Carl O. Oliver, Mansfield, La., L. L. Oliver, Shreveport, D. L. Oliver,
Shreveport, Mrs. G. W. Moore, Packton, Mrs. W. U. Drewett, Winnfield, Mrs.
E. L. Brock, Shreveport, and Mrs. C. I. Rowe, Winnfield.
