O'Malley To Be Buried Here Friday Clint C. O'Malley, 65, former marshal of Winnfield, died at his home at Wyatt, at 11 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be conducted at the Winnfield Methodist Church at 10 a.m. Friday, May 11, with the pastor, Rev. H. B. Hysell, in charge. Assisting will be the Rev. Alwin Stokes, Presbyterian minister. Burial will be in the Winnfield Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home. A former resident of Winnfield, Mr. O'Malley served as marshal of the town for a number of years. He was prominent in this section of the state having served as police chief, chief deputy sheriff of Rapides Parish, and U. S. Marshal, and was a member of the State Parole Board a number of years. At the time of his death he was connected with the Dept. of Occupational Standards, State of La. He is survived by his widow, two brothers, G. G. O'Malley of Baton Rouge and H. H. O'Malley of Oklahoma City, and two sisters, Mrs. H. H. Hill of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Mrs. W. E. Burrough of Van Buren, Ark. He also leaves the following sisters in law and brothers in law: Mrs. W. J. Pine, Natchitoches; Ms. A. A. O'Malley, Chicago; David Pine, Winnfield; Dr. and Mrs. M. M. Hearn, Jonesboro; L. L. Pine, Baton Rouge; and J. W. Pine, Homer, La.
