Claude E. O'Neal Of Jordan Hill Buried July 3

Funeral services for Claude E. O'Neal, 38, were held Sunday at 2 p.m., at the
Big Creek Baptist Church.  Burial was in the Jordan Hill Cemetery under
direction of Southern Funeral Home.

The Rev. Waynon Mott and Rev. Jewel Canderday officiated at the rites and
acting as pallbearers were Julius Smith, Willie Broadway, Gus Crawford, Ed
Guin, Clifford Bartley, and Leon Moore.

A native of Pollock, Mr. O'Neal was a resident of the Jordan Hill community
since 1944.  He was a cement mason.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Laura Jordan O'Neal; one daughter, Mrs. Jean
Howell of Bossier City; one son, Bobby O'Neal, Winnfield; his mother, Mrs. G.
C. Tullos, Olla; one brother, Floyd O'Neal, Monroe; one sister, Mrs. Joe
Leavins, Freeport, Texas; and one granddaughter.
