John Thomas O'Quin Claimed By Death Monday, March 23rd

John Thomas O'Quin, 69 years old, well known resident of Clarence and father
of Leon and Arthur O'Quin of Shreveport, died at his home in Clarence Monday
afternoon March 25th.

Mr. O'Quin had been ill for several weeks.  Besides Leon and Arthur O'Quin he
is survived by his widow, Mrs. Clara Hicks O'Quin and a third son, Claude
O'Quin of Alexandria.

Mr. O'Quin was well known in Winnfield having been connected in business here
with Mr. G. P. Long, now deceased, and later with Mr. R. R. Gibson.  Funeral
services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the home in
Clarence, with interment in the Natchitoches Cemetery.
