Colored Deaths

Rosa Overton

Rosa Overton, 52, L & A Quarters, Winnfield, died Dec. 22 following a long
illness in her home in Winnfield.  Funeral services were held Dec. 26 with the
Rev. J. B. Huey and Rev. H. Y. Bell officiating.

Survivors include her husband, John Overton, one child, Willie B. Chapel, and
sisters Adline Lott of Winnfield and Mary Walker of Winfield, Kansas.
