Former Winnfield Resident Dies At Shreveport Home

Friends of Mrs. Maggie Jones Coor-Pender who resided here a number of years
ago will regret to learn of her death on Tuesday night of this week at her
home in Shreveport. Mrs. Coor-Pender was a member of the local Presbyterian
Church and was one of the charter members of the Palestine Chapter No. 55, O.
E. S.

Funeral services were held Wednesday and burial in the Greenwood Cemetery at
Shreveport.

Mrs. Coor-Pender was the widow of Richard O. Coor-Pender, veteran conductor of
the L. R. & N. railroad. She is survived by two sons, Richard O. Coor-Pender,
Jr. and William Coor-Pender, and one daughter, Miss Margaret Coor-Pender of
Shreveport.
