D. O. Pray Dies; Last Rites June 17 At Pleasant Hill

D. O. Pray, 45, died Monday, June 15, 1964, in a Winnfield hospital after a
long illness.

He was a retired oil field driller and a resident of the Pleasant Hill
Community.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Cornelia Long Pray, of Winnfield; two daughters,
Mrs. Martin Ray Bozeman of Shreveport and Hope Renea Pray of Winnfield;
one son, Wayne Douglas Pray of Winnfield; two grandchildren, four sisters,
Mrs. Odis Jordan, Mrs. Wade Bartley, Mrs. W. C. Wright, Route 2, and Mrs. J.
L. Spears, Lexington, Miss.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Pleasant Hill Baptist
Church with the Revs. J. J. Young, Willie James, and J. C. Creel officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.
