Mrs. Anna Pace, Aunt Of Local Resident, Dies

Mrs. Anna Laura Pace, 72, of Jonesboro, died Saturday, November 9, 1968 in a
Jonesboro hospital after a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Southside Baptist Church in
Jonesboro.  Burial was in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Alexandria under the
direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Survivors are three sons, Roy O. Pace of Olla, Laine Pace of Hodge, and Hebert
Pace of Jonesboro; five daughters, Mrs. R. E. Carter of Shreveport, Mrs. L. L.
Carter of Alexandria, Mrs. Jack Taylor of Bryan, Texas, Mrs. Mary Chandler of
Jonesboro, and Mrs. David Harris of Fairbanks, Alaska; three brothers, Frank
Hughes of Bastrop, Ernest Hughes and Silas Hughes, both of Shreveport, and 16
grandchildren.

Mrs. C. C. Taylor, niece of the deceased and Mr. Taylor of this city attended
the last rites.
