She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Alexandria, a member of the J. T. Charnley Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, active in the American Gold Star Mothers, and an active volunteer worker at the Veterans Administration Hospital. Survivors include three sons, Herbert N. Pace of Baton Rouge, Claud F. Pace of Memphis, and Richard L. Pace of Metairie; one daughter, Mrs. Marie Pace Belgard of Pineville; two brothers, Murphy Tannehill of Urania and Francis M. Tannehill of Kerrville, Texas; seven sisters, Mrs. Bessie T. Walsh and Miss Estelle Tannehill, both of Winnfield, Mrs. Mae T. Hardtner and Mrs. Nevin T. McKinney, both of Alexandria, Mrs. Vivian T. Fort of Beaumont, Tex., Mrs. Nancy T. Robbins of Hot Springs, Ark., and Mrs. Dee T. Johnson of Lake Charles; seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria, with Rev. Harvey Williamson officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Memorial Park. Pallbearers were W. M. Tannehill, Marion Tannehill, Don H. Walsh, Glen Tannehill, Charles L. Tannehill, Richard H. Tannehill, Fred Tannehill, and Barry McKinney.
